Program Information

  • Degree offered: MD Degree
  • 4 years in length but can be completed in 3.5 years
  • Enrolment: 1,750 students


Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Applicant must have completed at least 90 credits of college work
  • It is highly recommended that the applicant completes their degree at the undergraduate level
  • Required Courses
    • Biology (One full academic year)
    • English (One semester)
    • General Chemistry (One full academic year)
    • Mathematics; either Calculus or Statistics (One semester)
    • Organic Chemistry (One full academic year)
    • Physics (One semester)
    • All required courses must be taken with a lab component except for English and Mathematics
  • Recommended Courses
    • Any advanced science courses in such subjects as Biochemistry, Anatomy/Physiology, Genetics, Microbiology, etc

  • Two official letters of reference; theses letters of recommendation must be on official letterhead stationery and signed.
