  • International students are accepted. However, they must attend 1 year of premedical training at a US institution in addition to taking the MCAT.

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: Minimum 3 years of undergraduate study at an American or Canadian University (any discipline)
  • Required Courses
    • Chemistry (6 credits) with lab
    • Organic chemistry (6 credits) with lab
    • Physics (6 credits) with lab
    • General biology (6 credits) with lab
    • English (6 credits)

  • Grades of A or B should be attained in required courses
  • Applicant should attain no lower than a C in required courses
  • Pass/Fail courses are still regarded
  • Average GPA: 3.83

  • MCAT must have been written within 3 years of application deadline
  • No "lower limit" score. Average MCAT score is 36

  • late-August 2016 – January 2017: Interview invitations are emailed

  • November 12, 2016: P&S deadline for supporting documents
  • Mid-February 2017: Admission offers are sent
  • January – July 2017: Admitted students submit Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and other financial need applications

  • April 30, 2017: Deadline for admitted students to accept an offer of admission from P&S
