Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: Minimum 3 years or 90 semester hours of undergraduate study (any discipline)
  • Required Courses
    • English (2 semesters) – one semester of grammar and composition
    • College Mathematics (2 semesters)
      • Statistics are considered as mathematics
    • Biological Science (2 semesters) – including lab
    • General or Introductory Chemistry (2 semesters) – including lab; portion may be analytical or physical chemistry
    • Organic Chemistry (2 semesters) – including lab
    • General or Introductory Physics (2 semesters) – including lab
  • MCAT will change in 2015
    • Additional required courses for 1 semester each: biochemistry, sociology, psychology, and statistics
