Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an institution accredited by the National Committee of Regional Accrediting Agencies in the U.S or Canada
  • All required courses should be completed by July 1 of the year you plan to matriculate
    • Biology + Lab (8 Credits or 1 year)
      • Acceptable courses: Anatomy and Physiology, Cell Structure and Function, General Biology, Genetics, Histology, Microbiology, Nervous System, Upper-level Zoology
    • Physics + Lab (8 Credits or 1 year)
      • Acceptable courses: General Physics, Physical Chemistry may be substituted depending on the material covered
    • General Chemistry + Lab (8 Credits or 1 year)
      • Acceptable courses: General Chemistry, Physical Chemistry
    • Organic Chemistry + Lab (8 Credits or 1 year)
      • Biochemistry can be substituted for 4 of the 8 credits
  • Recommended Courses
    • One course in either Biochemistry or Molecular Genetics
  • Note on APs
    • Advanced Placement courses will be accepted only if credit appears on the college transcript and subsequently appears on the AMCAS transcript portion of the application
