- Average accepted GPA 2012: 3.90
- Calculation method:
- GPA will be calculated by eliminating one full-course (6 credits) grade per full year of study.
- If applying after three years of full-time study, the lowest 3.0 courses (18 credits) will be removed.
- If applying after completion of four years of full-time study, the 4.0 courses (24 credits) will be removed
- Summer courses are not included in GPA calculation, though they may count towards prerequisites

Interview
- approximately 550 candidates will be invited

- Interviews are conducted at the Faculty of Medicine by a member of the Faculty and a current medical student

- Sept. 15, 2012: Deadline to create OMSAS account
- Oct. 1, 2012: Deadline to submit applications, including completion of payment
- Oct. 1, 2012: All transcripts and academic documents must be received by OMSAS
- Dec. 7, 2012: Deadline for receipt at OMSAS of all reference letters
- May 14, 2013: First offers of admission
- June 12, 2009: Deadline to accept offers of admission
