- Number of applications in 2008: 300-350 Saskatchewan and 400-450 out-of-province
- Class size in 2009: 84 (a maximum of 6 (10%) out of province applicants)
Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: Applicants must have completed two years of university education.
- Required Courses
- Biology: one full year (BIOL 111/112)
- Chemistry: one full year (CHEM 110/120)
- Organic Chemistry: one half year (CHEM 212)
- Physics: one full year (PHYS 101/102 or PHYS 131/142)
- English: one full year (both courses must cover literature and composition)
- Biochemistry: one full year (BIOL 200 or BIOC 312 and BIOC 311)
- Humanities/Social Sciences: one full year

- Saskatchewan residents must have a two year minimum average of 78% (3.3+)
- Out of province residents must have a two-year minimum average of 80% (3.7+)
Realistically, to be competitive academically, an overall two-year average of 90% is required for out-of-province applicants.
- An overall average of 70% (3.0) in the prerequisite courses is required.
- If an applicant has an overall prerequisite average lower than 70%, higher-level courses in the same subject can be taken.
- Only the best two years are considered.
- Courses taken during the summer are not included in the GPA average.
- Current year of study is not included in the overall average.
