Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada prior to matriculation.
- Competencies
- English/Communication (competence in writing, speaking, and reading English language)
- Biology (knowledge of basic biological principles shared by all living organisms)
- Chemistry (knowledge of principles of physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry)
- Physics and Mathematics (firm foundation in mathematics, statistics and physical science)
- Behavioural disciplines: development of social, cultural, and behavioural factors that influence health and disease (history, philosophy, ethics, anthropology, political science, economics, etc.)
- International students with degrees from outside of the United States or Canada are required to complete one year of course work in the sciences at a college or university in the United States before applying for admission.
