- Preference to North Carolina residents. 20 non-residents accepted each year.
Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline)
- Required Courses
- English (6 credits)
- Biology (6 credits) – including one biology course with laboratory
- General and Organic Chemistry with laboratory (16 credits)
- Physics with laboratory (8 credits)
- Note - AP credits are accepted as long as they appear on the official transcript. It is strongly recommended to take advanced level courses if AP credits were granted

- Cell and molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry
