- Doctor of Medicine (MD)
- 4 years in length
- Approximately 160 available seats
- Preference to North Carolina residents; 20 non-residents accepted each year.

Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline)
- Required Courses:
- General Biology including at least one course with lab
- General Chemistry with lab
- Organic Chemistry with lab
- General Physics with lab
- English
- Behavioral or Social Sciences (Humanities, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Social Diversity, etc.)

- Average GPA: 3.59 for the science GPA and 3.76 for non-science

- Supplemental Application + non-refundable fee of $68 USD (supplemental application are emailed to qualified applicants considered for an interview)
- Letters of Recommendation:
- at least two letters of recommendation from professors who know you well and have taught you in a formal classroom setting. One of the two letters should be from a professor in your most recent major or degree-granting department, and the other may be from any professor of your choice.
