Program Information
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)
- Note that the MBChB is the qualifying medical degree for the UK
- 5 years in length
Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Required Courses [GCSE]
- Seven subjects at C or above, with five at A or A*
- English and Mathematics must be at minimum grade B
- Physics and Biology must be minimum grade C
- Seven subjects at C or above, with five at A or A*
- Required Courses [A levels]
- Chemistry
- Biology OR Human Biology OR Physics OR Mathematics
- One other A level course (not General Studies nor Critical Thinking)
- International Baccalaureate
- Higher Level in Chemistry, plus one from Biology OR Physics OR Maths, plus one further subject
- 37 points required overall
- Note that the University of Manchester only accepts those with international GCSEs and A-levels or International Baccalaureate

Tuition 2009-2010
- First year tuition (EU student) - £ 3 290
- First and second year tuition (International) - £ 14 200.
- Third to fifth year tuition (International) - £ 25 900
- Note that tuition is in pounds, not dollars
