Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: A minimum of 3 years of undergraduate study, with one year being from an accredited 4-year American institution. However, the recommended amount is 4 years of undergraduate study.
  • Required Courses:
    • Biology (6 credits) -- except for Botany and Biochemistry
    • General Chemistry (6 credits) -- Biochemistry is acceptable
    • Organic Chemistry (6 credits)
    • Physics (6 credits)
    • Math (6 credits) -- the only courses considered are Calculus, Statistics and Computer Science
      • All courses must be passed with at least a grade of "C".
  • AP credit (with scores of 4 or 5) may exempt the applicant from:
    • 6 credits of Math
    • 3 credits of Physics
    • 3 credits of General Chemistry

  • Two interviews will be conducted by individual members of the Recruitment and Admissions Committee.
