Program Information

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD)
  • 4 years in length

  • Preference given to California Residents, US Citizens or Permanent Residents


Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: minimum of 3 years of undergrad, including a minimum of one full-time year at an accredited U.S. college or university.
    • A Bachelor’s degree is recommended, but not required. (Any field of study)
    • Minimum GPA: 3.6 (4.0 scale)
  • Required Courses
    • Biology – 3 semesters (+ 1 year lab work)
    • Chemistry – 4 semesters (+ 1 year lab work)
    • Physics – 2 semesters
    • Math – 2 semesters (Calculus + Statistics)
    • English Writing/Composition – 1 semester
  • Course marks should each be a grade C or higher

    • Verbal Reasoning – 10
    • Writing Sample – N
  • MCAT must have been written within 3 years of application deadline and not later than September of the year prior to matriculation
