Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: Minimum 3 years of undergraduate study (90 semester hours or 135 quarter hours)
  • Required Courses (verified by AMCAS):

MCAT

  • MCAT is required (taken within the last 36 months)

AMCAS

  • October 1 is UC Davis' deadline to submit all application materials to AMCAS (Extensions will not be considered)

    • Letters of recommendation (3-6 LORs allowed)

Interview

  • Interview invitations are on a rolling basis – July through January.
  • Interviews are always held on Fridays starting in mid-August and ending in February
  • Multiple Mini Interview (MMI)

Timeline

  • June 1: AMCAS application becomes available online
  • Oct. 1: Deadline for all documents to be submitted to AMCAS
  • Acceptance decisions are made on a rolling basis starting on 10/15 through 7/15 the following year.
  • Decisions are made within 30-45 days post-interview after review of your entire application packet.
