Course and Degree Requirements

• Degree:
  • Bachelor's (baccalaureate) degree is required
  • Applicants educated outside of the United States, must have completed at least 2 full years of study in an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada prior to application (no undergraduate major preference)

  • General Chemistry (2 semesters)
  • Organic Chemistry (2 semesters)

  • Behavioral and Social Science (2 semester)

• Required courses for admissions must be completed with a grade of "C"
  • Average Science GPA: 3.72

• Minimum MCAT score: 24
• Average MCAT score: 30
• Test must have been written within 3 years of application deadline
  • The September 10, 2016, administration is the last exam in 2016 that will be considered for admission in 2017
  • After the 2017-2018 term, will no longer accept MCAT scores from old MCAT format

Interview

• When: Between September and February
• Lasts approximately 90 minutes
• Interact with each interviewers for seven minutes and two minutes break between each stations
• The interview day consists of:
  • Visiting Day of the campus
  • Several opportunities to meet current students, faculty and leadership, as well as curricular and extra-curricular information
  • Multiple mini-interviews (MMI)
• Typical questions or scenarios that focus on critical thinking skills, communication skills, and ethical decision making

• AMCAS application deadline: November 1, 2016
• Secondary Application deadline (Priority Deadline): November 7, 2016
• Secondary Application deadline (Deadline) with recommendation letters: December 1, 2016
• Interviews: September - February
• Final decisions will be communicated on a rolling basis between November 2016 through April 2017
