There are 8 to 10 stations, each with a situation where the candidate has 2 minutes to read the situation and 10 minutes to perform it. The situations do not require any medical knowledge.

  • January 15, 2009: Deadline to submit applications for:
  1. Candidates that have a DEC and that did university studies
  2. Candidates that have a DEC and are presently enrolled in a university
  3. Canadian candidates outside of Quebec
  4. Outsider candidates
  5. Candidates from the Canadian Forces who are in university
  6. Doctors (MD) who completed a diploma outside of Canada or the United States
  • March 1, 2009: Deadline to submit applications for:
  1. Candidates in the process of obtaining a DEC
  2. Candidates that have a DEC who have not done any university studies
  3. Candidates from the Canadian Forces who are in CEGEP
  4. Aboriginal candidates
  • March 31 2009 – Beginning of April 2009: Confirmation of interview invitation
  • April 19, 2009: Date of interview
  • April 25, 2009: Date of interview
    • Either of the 2 above interview days will be selected for a candidate
