Admission Requirements
General Notes : - Language of instruction is exclusively French. - If the applicant's previous language of instruction was not French they must write a French knowledge test. - Students are accepted from all over Canada. Students from Quebec, however, have priority. - Applicants must be Canadian citizens or have permanent resident status.
Criteria : Required classes - A CEGEP DEC or equivalent - CEGEP level:
* Biology NYA and 401 * Chemistry NYA, NYB, 202 * Math NYA, NYB * Physics NYA, NYB, NYC
- Applicants must have completed 75 university credits when they apply.

GPA - Universite de Laval uses the CRU (cote de rendement universitaire) as a measure of an applicant's academic strength.

Supporting Documents - A formal application form must be completed. - A copy of the applicant's birth certificate. - A copy of the applicant's cumulative grades is required. This includes high school, CEGEP, and university grades.

Tuition
- Tuition (per session) for a Quebec student is $1047.15.
* For a Canadian student outside Quebec: $2669.85. * For a foreign student: between $5427.15 and $6027.15.

- In 2006, 1805 applications were received, while only 200 spots were available. - Approximately 199 spots will go to applicants from Quebec, 3 to applicants from New Brunswick, and 2 to other.
