Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: Minimum 3 years of undergraduate study (any discipline)
- Strong preference given to applicants who will complete a bachelor’s degree in the U.S.
- Required Courses:
- Biology (8 credits) – classical genetics and introductory biology sequence + lab.
- Chemistry (8 credits) – full year of general chemistry + lab
- Organic Chemistry (8 credits) – full year of organic chemistry + lab
- Physics (8 credits) – introductory physics + lab
- Note - AP credits will be awarded to biology, chemistry and physics if at least one upper level course has been taken.
- Recommended Courses
- English – applicants must possess strong skills in English both spoken and written.
- Math – calculus, statistics, and computer science.

Interview
- Sep-March: TUSM interview season
- Personal interviews are conducted at the Boston campus, and consist of a full day of orientation including two individual interviews with members of the TUSM Committee on Admissions of speakers.
