Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

• Required Courses
  • minimum 6 credits of English
  • minimum 8 credits of general Biology (Biology, Zoology or Botany, no more than 4 semester hours may be Botany)
  • minimum 8 credits of introductory inorganic chemistry with laboratory work
  • minimum 8 credits of organic chemistry with laboratory
  • minimum 8 credits of Physics

MCAT

• MCAT is required.
• All applicants must have taken their MCAT by Sept, 2009.
• Scores prior to 2006 will not be accepted.

• AMCAS Application (online)
• Saint Louis supplemental application (the university sends these to students after getting through the primary application process)
• A passport size photograph
• 3 Letters of recommendation-from professors, and one has to be a science professor.
• Application fee of $100
