- minimum 6 credits of English
- minimum 8 credits of general Biology (Biology, Zoology or Botany, no more than 4 semester hours may be Botany)
- minimum 8 credits of Introductory Inorganic chemistry with laboratory work
- minimum 8 credits of Organic Chemistry with laboratory
- minimum 8 credits of Physics
- minimum 12 credits of other Humanities and Behavioural Sciences 12
