Program Information

  • Degree offered: M.D degree
  • 4 years in length
  • Note that the 10 semesters can be completed in 16 months
  • Approximately 350 students taken in every incoming year.

Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Applicants are required to have completed a minimum of 90 credits
  • Applicants are expected to have earned a bachelor’s degree from a North American baccalaureate program.
  • Required Courses
    • Biology or Zoology(One full academic year)
    • English (One full academic year)
    • General Chemistry (One full academic year)
    • Mathematics; preferable Calculus or Statistics (One semester)
    • Organic Chemistry (One full academic year)
    • Physics (One full academic year)
  • All required courses require a laboratory component except for English and Mathematics
  • Recommended Courses
    • Humanities, Social and Behavioural Sciences

  • Average GPA-3.4
  • Range that have been taken in the past- 2.7-4.0
  • Calculation method:
    • Cumulative GPA
  • 3.00 (4.0 scale) in prerequisite courses required by Ross University of Medicine
  • No “D” or “F” grade in any prerequisite course required by Ross University of Medicine
