- International applicants are encouraged not to apply
- Combined programs offered: MD-MPH and MD-PhD.

Criteria
- NYU SOM requires at least three years of college work but recommends completion of four years of undergraduate study and a baccalaureate degree.
Required classes
- minimum six (6) credits of English
- minimum six (6) credits of general Biology or Zoology
- minimum six (6) credits of introductory inorganic chemistry with laboratory work
- minimum six (6) credits of organic chemistry with laboratory
- minimum six (6) credits of general physics with laboratory
- additional courses in the biological and quantitative sciences are recommended

The Medical College Admissions Test
- Test results within the last three years are valid
Supporting Documents
- American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS). Applications are submitted electronically and can be accessed at www.aamc.org.
