Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

Degree: Minimum 3 years of undergraduate study at an accredited college or university. Completion of baccalaureate degree recommended. Required Courses

  • English-1 year (two years are recommended)
  • Inorganic Chemistry- 1 year (including laboratory)
  • Organic Chemistry - 1 year (including laboratory)
    • One semester of Organic Chemistry and one semester of Biochemistry will also fill this requirement
  • General Physics- 1 year (including laboratory)
  • General Biology- 1 year (including laboratory)

Recommended Courses

  • Any courses in the biological and quantitative sciences
  • AP credits can fulfill requirements if AP credits appear on the official transcript

    • A one-on-one, open-file interview with a member of our faculty.
    • An interview with a current medical student.
    • An hour-long lunch, which will include a presentation about the school, and the opportunity to speak to current students.
    • An hour-long tour of the Medical School.
    • A 30 minute tour of Bellevue Hospital.
