Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: Baccalaureate degree at accredited American or Canadian undergraduate institution
- Required Courses
- Social sciences/humanities (1 year)
- General biology and 1 lab (1 year)
- General/inorganic chemistry and 1 lab (1 year)
- Organic chemistry and 1 lab (1 year)
- English, writing, or composition
- Mathematics through college algebra or statistics and probability
- Recommended Courses
- 2 upper-level biological science courses
- Anatomy, biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, immunology, physiology (highly recommended)
- Embryology, microbiology, molecular biology, neuroscience
- 2 upper-level biological science courses
