Program Information

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD)
  • 4 years in length
  • Out-of-State Students: 20%
  • Dual programs offered: MD/PhD or MPH (Master’s in Public Health)


Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: 4-year Baccalaureate degree from an accredited undergrad in Canada or United States (any field)
  • Required Courses - 2 semesters for each
    • General/Inorganic Chemistry (8 credits) – min. 1 lab
    • General Biology (8 credits) – min. 1 lab
    • Organic Chemistry (8 credits) – min. 1 lab
    • English Writing or composition or any writing-intensive classes (6 credits)
    • Mathematics (3 credits) – algebra or statistics and probability
    • Upper-level biological science courses (6-8 credits) – ex. Biochemistry, Cell biology, Embryology, Genetics, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, or Physiology
