Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: Minimum 3 years of undergraduate study with at least 30 completed credits
  • There are no required courses
  • Exposure to basic sciences as well as the social sciences and humanities, is recommended

  • Minimum: 3.0 (4.0 scale) according to OMSAS conversion
  • Average accepted GPA in 2013: 3.82
  • Calculation Method: according to OMSAS conversion table

MCAT

  • Only verbal reasoning component considered (minimum score: 6)
  • MCAT must have been written within 5 years of application deadline
  • Most recent test result will be used

  • CASPer will be offered October 20-23, 2013
  • All applicants are required to complete CASPer, a web-based assessment of interpersonal skills and decision-making

  • Non-Canadian and non-US grades need to be to Ontario educational equivalents
  • Proof of English Proficiency is required for applicants whose first language is not English.
