Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: Minimum 3 years of undergraduate study with at least 30 completed credits
  • There are no required courses
  • Exposure to basic sciences as well as the social sciences and humanities, is recommended

  • Minimum: 3.0 (4.0 scale) according to OMSAS conversion
  • Average accepted GPA 2008: 3.86

  • Only verbal reasoning component considered (score 6 minimum)
  • MCAT must have been written within 5 years of application deadline
  • Most recent test result will be used

  • Autobiographical submission – included in OMSAS application
  • Official transcripts from universities attended sent directly to OMSAS. For more information, click here
  • Non-Canadian and non-US grades need to be credentialed to Ontario educational equivalents
  • English Proficiency is required for applicants whose first language is not English.
