Admissions Requirements

Citizenship

  • Applicants must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Canada at time of application
    • Foreign nationals are currently not eligible for admission

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: completion of bachelor's or Pharm.D. degree (no major preferred)
    • A higher degree cannot serve as a substitute
  • Required Courses
    • One year of biology and/or zoology (with lab)
    • One year of inorganic chemistry (with lab)
    • One year of organic chemistry (with lab)
    • One year of physics (with lab)
    • One course in biochemistry

You will also have the opportunity to meet current students, attend class, and have a tour of our facilities.

  • Interview invitations will be sent out on from September through mid-December.

  • Type of interview : meet with two members of the Admissions Committee (30 minutes each)
    • Selected applicants are invited to Rochester, Minnesota for a day-long interview, will also have the opportunity to meet current students, attend class, and have a tour of the facilities.
