Mayo Medical School College of Medicine offers degree programs in:

Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: completion of baccalaureate degree (no major preferred)
  • Required Courses
    • One year of biology and/or zoology (with lab)
    • One year of inorganic chemistry (with lab)
    • One year of organic chemistry (with lab)
    • One year of physics (with lab)
    • One course in biochemistry

  • American Medical College Applications Service (AMCAS) application
  • There is no secondary application required
  • Letters of Recommendation are not required from all applicants (some applicants will be notified)
  • $100 application fee

  • Selected applicants are invited to Rochester, Minnesota for a day-long interview
  • Interviewees will meet two members of the Admissions Committee
