  • A 100 credits fulfilled at an accredited university
    • Required courses must be completed prior to matriculation
  • Required Courses
    • Biology with Lab (6 credits)
    • General Chemistry with Lab (6 credits)
    • Organic Chemistry with Lab (6 credits)
    • Physics with Lab (6 credits)
  • Credits earned through advanced placement programs are accepted
  • A letter grade of C or better is required for these required courses

  • Average scores (recent years): 30
  • Scores prior to two years of application date is not accepted
  • The January 2011 MCAT score will only be considered for the waitlisted applicants

  • Secondary Application
    • Applicants will be requested to complete the Secondary Application if the primary application is accepted. This includes a supplemental questionnaire, letters of recommendation, a form to determine Virginia residency status.

  • The interview board consists of a basic scientist, clinician and a medical student
