Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: At least three years of study toward a baccalaureate degree
- Required courses must be completed prior to matriculation

- Minimum credit hours:
- Science and Mathematics: 40 credit hours

MCAT
- MCATs older than 2013 will not be considered
- MCAT examination must be taken no later than September preceding their first year of matriculation
- Applicants applying for “early decision” must take the MCATs no later than July 9th and complete their application by August 15th

- Applicants will be sent a link to the Secondary Application once the receipt of the AMCAS application has been received
- Secondary Application fee: $120.00
- Letters of recommendation may be one of the following choices:
- letter of recommendation by the Pre-Professional Advisory committee
- Two letters of recommendation
- One letter from a faculty member in the applicant’s major
- A second letter from a different science faculty member
- Applicants are encouraged to submit 1 or 2 letters of recommendation from someone with whom they have worked closely (faculty, research mentors, volunteer directors, or employers)

Interview
- Approximately 1100 applicants interviewed
- The interview usually lasts between 30 minutes and an hour and is conducted by a clinician or scientist.
