Program Information

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD)
  • 10 Semesters- First 5-Basic Sciences, the latter five are Clinicals which are done in the U.S. or Canada

Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: A minimum of 3 years of undergraduate studies. However, they mention that applicants with completed Bachelor’s degree will be given higher preference.
  • Required Courses
    • Biology, anatomy or zoology- 1 academic year i.e. at least 6 credits
    • Inorganic Chemistry-1 academic year i.e. at least 6 credits
    • Biochemistry/Organic Chemistry- 1 academic year i.e. at least 6 credits

MCAT

  • MCAT is recommended and is required with students whose requires science courses are more than 5 years old, completed the science courses in a community college or received a grade of “C” or lower.
