Standardized Test
- Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test (UMAT)
- There will not be a UMAT test in 2019 and the UMAT Office will permanently close on 31 December 2018.

- University Clinical Aptitude Test for Australia and New Zealand (UCAT ANZ)
- The UCAT is a two-hour computer-based test which assesses a range of mental abilities identified by universities as important to practicing in the fields of medicine / dentistry / clinical sciences.
- It consists of five separately timed subtests which each contain a number of questions in a multiple-choice format.
- Once started the test cannot be paused for a break but before each subtest there is a timed instruction section.

- Test 1: Mental Agility Test - a high level reasoning ability skills test (45 questions in 60 minutes)
- Test 2: Interpersonal Values - describes a number of situations where people have to decide what to do according to their opinions or values (60 minutes)
- Test 3: Interpersonal Traits Questionnaire- presents situations about people and lists the way individuals might think and behave in certain situations (60 minutes)
- Test 4: Personal Characteristics Inventory- respondents must rate themselves on statements in order to determine honesty and self-awareness
