Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: Minimum of 90 credit hours completed in any major.
- Required Courses
- Inorganic Chemistry (with lab) (1 full year; 2 semesters)
- Organic Chemistry (with lab) (2 semesters)
- Biology (with lab) (2 semesters)
- Physics (with lab) (2 semesters)
- Math (1 semester)
- English (1 semester)
- Note that calculus is not required and statistics is accepted to fulfill the math requirement.
- Writing Intensive Courses in any subject may substitute for the English Courses.
- Advanced placement (AP) courses may fulfill the course requirements if the credits appear on the applicant’s college or university transcript.
GPA
- Competitive Science GPA: 3.6
