Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: Baccalaureate degree (typically 4 years) at an accredited American or Canadian university
- If undergraduate degree outside of US or Canada, a minimum of 1 year of science-based work at an accredited US institution (can be Masters, PhD, formalized post-baccalaureate, or other upper-level science coursework)
- Typical science credit hours:
- Non-science majors: at least 40 credit hours
- Science majors: at least 55 credit hours
- Post-bacc students: at least 32 credit hours

- General Chemistry with lab: 2 semesters
- Organic Chemistry: 1 semesters
- Physics with lab: 2 semesters
- Biochemistry: 1 semester (2014-2015 cycle)

- June 2, 2017: AMCAS 2017-2018 application becomes available.
- July 1, 2017: Earliest date that medical schools will receive verified primary AMCAS applications.
- November 1, 2017: Latest filing date through AMCAS for consideration of primary AMCAS application.
- July 1 - November 1 2017: Our Admissions Office receives verified AMCAS primary applications and electronically invites all applicants to complete Case's Secondary Application.
- December 1, 2017: Deadline to submit the secondary application.
- August - December 15: Admissions receives and reviews completed applications. Qualified applicants are electronically invited to schedule an interview at CWRU.
