Course and Degree Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an institution accredited by the National Committee of Regional Accrediting Agencies in the U.S or Canada
- All required courses should be completed by July 1 of the year you plan to matriculate
- Biology + Lab (8 Credits or 1 year)
- Acceptable courses: Anatomy and Physiology, Cell Structure and Function, General Biology, Genetics, Histology, Microbiology, Nervous System, Upper-level Zoology
- Physics + Lab (8 Credits or 1 year)
- Acceptable courses: General Physics, Physical Chemistry may be substituted depending on the material covered
- General Chemistry + Lab (8 Credits or 1 year)
- Acceptable courses: General Chemistry, Physical Chemistry
- Organic Chemistry + Lab (8 Credits or 1 year)
- Biochemistry can be substituted for 4 of the 8 credits
- Biology + Lab (8 Credits or 1 year)
- Recommended Courses
- One course in either Biochemistry or Molecular Genetics
- Note on APs
