OAT
Minimum scores: Applicants should have score of around 300 All applicants to the Michigan College of Optometry are required to sit for the Optometry Admissions Test (OAT), which is designed to measure general academic ability and scientific knowledge. The OAT test is available in computerized version only. The computer version is given continuously on an individually arranged basis. The OAT must be taken by February 15.

Timeline
Candidates are encouraged to complete the application process as soon as possible in order to receive early consideration for acceptance. You can submit your application through OptomCAS anytime after July 1st. Application files to MCO must be completed by February 15th of the year which admission is being sought. MCO follows a rolling admission process, admitting highly qualified students from September through February 15. For more information, click here
