- Organic Chemistry (6 credits) with labs
- Biochemistry (6 credits)
- Note – AP/IB credits can be claimed for English/Biology/General Chemistry if minimum grades are achieved
- Biology – AP grade of 4 or higher, IB Higher Level grade of 6 or higher
- Chemistry – AP grade of 4 or higher, IB Higher Level grade of 6 or higher
- English – AP grade of 4 or higher, IB Higher Level grade of 5 or higher

- Minimum CGPA: 70% or 2.8/4.0
- Average CGPA for interviewees 2008: 3.3/4.0
- Average CGPA for entering class 2008: roughly 3.75/4.0 or 83.15%
- Calculation method:
- Three GPA evaluations: Overall CGPA, Most recent 60 credits average, and Prerequisites average
- Overall CGPA includes summer and graduate courses with grades
- Repeated courses will be averaged for prerequisites average

Interview
- Feb. 12-13, 26-27, 2011: Interview dates. Four interview cycles each day, two in the morning and two in the afternoon
- Interviews follow Multiple Mini-Interview; applicants rotate through 11 different stations.
- Must provide at the interview:
- Proof of Identification – government issued photo ID
- Two passport sized photos (colour) with the applicant’s full name printed at the back
- Location is at Life Sciences Centre Building, 2350 Health Sciences Mall, Vancouver, BC.

- June 7, 2010: 2010/11 Online Application becomes available at the UBC website
- August 2010: evaluation will begin
- Sept. 1, 2010: All applications completed including application fees, and all supporting documents must be received by 1 pm
- Nov. 1 2010: Deadline for all valid MCAT
- Early Dec. 2010: Interview invitations are sent to applicants
- Mid-Dec. 2010: Deadline to book interview
- Feb. 12-13, 26-27, 2011: Interview dates
- Mar. 4, 2011: Supplemental Application Deadline
- April 30, 2011: Course Completion. All prerequisites courses by this date
- May 13, 2011: Notification of admissions decisions
- June 15, 2011: All successful and waitlisted applicants must submit final transcripts
