Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent from any field (120 credits)
- Required Courses
- Statistics (3 credits)
- Physics (3 credits) or Grade 12 physics
- Human Anatomy (3 credits)
- Psychology (3 credits)
- Human Physiology (6 credits)
- English (3 credits)

GPA
- Minimum grade of B (72%) is required in every prerequisite course
- Minimum overall average of B+ (76%) in all 300-400 level courses
- GPA calculation: All prerequisites + the last 30 credits of university senior level courses

TOEFL and GRE
- For international applicants
- TOEFL: PBT 600, CBT 250, IBT 100
- MELAB: minimum 83 overall
- IELTS: minimum 7.5 overall with 7.0+ in each component
- CAEL: minimum 80

- Minimum of 70 hours of volunteer or paid work involving direct interaction with patients of cognitive, emotional, or physical disabilities
- Completed across no more than 2 facilities

Interview
- Applicants who meet the above minimum requirements are eligible for interview consideration
- MMI will test verbal communication skill, maturity and personal suitability
- The top 160 applicants will be offered an interview
- The Master of Physical Therapy interviews are in early March. Applicants will be advised of their results in mid to late April.
