Program Information
- Master of Science in Physiotherapy (MScPT)
- 25 months in duration
- Academic portion: 66 weeks
- Clinical placements: 6 weeks each for a total of 30 weeks
- Prepares students for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination
- Does not accept transfer applicants

Admissions Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- MScPT:
- Four-year undergraduate degree
- A three-year degree with 30 additional credits at a senior level will be considered
- Majors in Neuroscience, Psychology, Human Movement Science, Exercise Science, Human Physiology, Health Promotion, Ergonomics or Anatomy are preferred.
- Required courses:
- Human Physiology (6 credits)
- Biology/Cell Biology (3 credits)
- Human Anatomy (3 credits)
- Life Sciences (3 credits)
- E.g. Biology, Chemistry, Cell Biology, Bio-chemistry, Biophysics, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering
- Statistics (3 credits)
- Social Sciences/Humanities/Languages (6 credits)
- At least 3 credits in Psychology

GPA
- Minimum GPA: 3.3/4.3 or B+
- Based on last 60 credits completed
English Language Proficiency Requirement
- Minimum scores:
- TOEFL: CBT-237, IBT-92 with +20 in each section, (4.0+ on the essay or writing test)
- MELAB: 81
- IELTS: 6.5 overall with 6.0+ in each section
- CanTest: 4.5 average
- CAEL: 70

Work and Volunteer Experience
- Completion of minimum 40 non-paid community volunteer hours in the last two years
- Letters of confirmation must accompany your supplemental application

Interview
- Interview selection: 40% CASPer test results, 60% GPA
- The interview will count for 25% of your admission score; GPA will count for the other 75%
- Interviews are based on situational judgement premises (6 scenarios for a total of 30 minutes)

- Two official transcripts from each university attended sent directly from each university
- Two references letters
- If all prerequisite courses have not been completed at the time of application, proof of registration is needed to show that the courses are in the process of being completed
- All requirements must be fulfilled by June 1
