Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent from a recognized university
- A qualifying year (QY) is a prerequisite for those with degrees other than the B.Sc. OT/PT from McGill University.
- Students may apply for the M.Sc. program after successful completion of the QY with a minimum cGPA of 3.0/4.0
- Minimum B standing, equivalent to a McGill cGPA of 3.0 (70-74%) for Occupational Therapy
- Minimum B+ standing, or a McGill CGPA of 3.2 (75-79%) for Physical Therapy

(b) Tell us about the attributes you think you have that makes you a good candidate for Physical Therapy study and profession. (c) Tell us what you know about the physiotherapy profession, how it fits within the healthcare system, and what you think are the challenges and opportunities of the PT profession.

Other Requirements
- Interviews held May 14th, 2013 (Physical Therapy)
- ten-station multiple mini interviews
- GRE is recommended for applicants:
- who do not have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a Canadian university
- who have not been in university for more than 5 years
- minimum score of 550 in verbal and quantitative categories
- minimum score of 3.5-4 in analytical categories
- Non-Canadian applicants, whose mother tongue is not English, and have not completed a university degree in English, must demonstrate English Language Proficiency in one of the following tests.
- TOEFL:
- Internet based test: 100 (at least 20 in each component)
- Computer-based test: 250
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 7.0
- TOEFL:
- Knowledge of French is highly recommended due to several Francophone clinical placements
