Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent from a recognized university
- A qualifying year (QY) is a prerequisite for those with degrees other than the B.Sc. OT/PT from McGill University.
- Students may apply for the M.Sc. program after successful completion of the QY with a minimum cGPA of 3.0/4.0
- Minimum B standing, equivalent to a McGill cGPA of 3.0 (70-74%)

Other Requirements
- Interviews held in April, May, and June
- GRE is recommended for applicants:
- who do not have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a Canadian university
- who have not been in university for more than 5 years
- minimum score of 550 in verbal and quantitative categories
- minimum score of 3.5-4 in analytical categories
- Non-Canadian applicants, whose mother tongue is not English, and have not completed a university degree in English, must demonstrate English Language Proficiency in one of the following tests.
- TOEFL:
- Internet based test: 100 (at least 20 in each component)
- Computer-based test: 250
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 7.0
- TOEFL:
- Knowledge of French is highly recommended due to several Francophone clinical placements
