- Honours bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Medicine, Microbiology, Computer Science or Physics
- Research also plays a factor

- Master’s degree or equivalent
- Direct Entry to PhD from a Bachelor's Program
- In addition to the requirements for entry to the MSc program, must have a consistent A average throughout 4 years
