  • Master’s Program (MSc. Degree)
    • 2 years
  • Doctor’s Program (PhD. Degree)
    • 4-5 years
    • Transfer is possible from MSc after a minimum of 1 year

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: Hons. B.Sc., an M.D. or a D.V.M. degree or equivalent with an overall "B+" (75%) average

GRE

  • International students who have received a non-North American degree should submit a GRE score
    • either General or Subject test in Biochemistry or Cell and Molecular Biology
  • TOEFL scores are required for an applicant whose mother tongue is not English, and graduated from a university where the language of instruction is not English
    • A minimum TOEFL score of 600 (CBT 250 or IBT 100) or equivalent, with a score of 4.5 in the TWE, is required for all international students.

Tuition 2009-2010

  • Canadian students or permanent residents entering the program with a GPA of A-, will receive Admission awards, which cover the costs of tuition for 2 years at the M.Sc. level, and 4 years at the Ph.D. level
  • Canadian citizens or permanent resident: $2,551.21
  • International tuition: $ 5,412.82 per year
