    • Degree: four year Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree or an Honours Bachelor of science degree (BScH)
    • Advanced laboratory experience in a biochemistry research environment e.g. summer research project, co-op work experience, a directed studies laboratory research course, or employment as a lab technician in a research environment
    • Required Courses
      • Organic and physical chemistry beyond the introductory level (e.g. Organic: CHEM212, 222, 302 Physical: CHEM204, 214, BIOC404)
      • Introductory Biochemistry course (e.g. BIOC212)
      • Introductory Biochemistry laboratory course (e.g. BIOC300D)
    • at least two advanced biochemistry courses (e.g. BIOC311, 312, 450, 454)
    • Recommended Courses
      • Genetics (e.g. BIOL202), Physics, Microbiology (e.g. MIMM211) or Cell Biology (e.g. BIOL200, ANAT262)
