Course and Degree Requirements
- Master’s Program
- Degree: four year Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree or an Honours Bachelor of Science degree (BScH)
- PhD Program
- Degree: a Master of Science (MSc) degree or a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree or completion of at least 75% of course work for master’s program

GPA
- Applicants to Master’s Program
- Minimum GPA: 3.0 (on a 4.33 scale)
- Applicants to Doctor’s Program
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 (on a 4.33 scale) for bachelor’s degree
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 (on a 4.33 scale) for partial completion master’s entrance

- Application fees: $75
- Applicants MUST have found a Senior Supervisor who is willing to consider their application. Applicants should contact directly to the faculty members

- Proof of English Proficiency
- TOEFL score greater than 100 (or 600 for paper-based and 250 for computer-based) for international students from countries where English is not the primary language
- Evidence showing completion of BSc/MSc program
- 3 References from qualified referees to prove the student’s ability to undertake advanced work required

- Canadian applicants – at least 3 months prior to desired start semester
- International applicants – at least 6 months prior to desired start semester
- Deadline for online application and sending supporting documents
- Fall term: June 1st
- Spring term: October 1st
- Summer term: February 1st
Tuition 2018-2019
- Full-time fee: $ 1 871.33 per term
- Continuing fee: $ 935.67 per term
- After completing 6 terms of full-time fees for master's students and 8 terms for doctoral students.
M.Sc. students are guaranteed a stipend of $18,000 per year while Ph.D students will receive $19,000 per year (see here)
