- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
- 4 years in length
- About 100 applications will be accepted every year.

Admission Requirements
Course Requirements
- EnglishOne year of college-level English
- Biology Two years as required for college science majors, including one year of formal laboratory work
- Physics One year as required for college science majors, including one year of formal laboratory work
- Chemistry One year of general chemistry and one year of organic chemistry as required for college science majors, including two years of formal laboratory work.
- Biochemistry One semester (3 semester hrs.)
- Statistics One semester (3 semester hrs.)
DAT and GPA
- DAT test grade and science GPA is required.
- GPA will be considered as two parts: science GPA and overall GPA.
- Combine with DAT final grade, a special calculation mark will be used to determine the application's quality.
- science GPA x DAT-A Score/30 x 4 + Overall GPA] x 50 = Overall Score

Other Information
- Individuals who have resided in Texas for 12 months immediately preceeding enrollment are classified as resident
- Applicants whose residency status is unclear should complete a Residence Questionnaire.
- Purchasing of special labtop with learning software is required after application been accepted.

Timeline
- May 1: Application Period Begins
- AUG. School begins INTERVIEWING applicants.
- October 1 Deadline for submission of applications
- DEC. First OFFERS OF ADMISSION mailed to selected applicants*
- Dec 1: First offers of admission and deadline for receipt of DAT scores. If necessary, additional acceptances will be made again on a rolling basis.
- JAN. FINANCIAL AID PROCESS BEGINS.
- School concludes INTERVIEWING applicants.
