Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: 60 credits at an accredited university or college. Bachelor's degree recommended
  • Required Courses:
    • 6 credits of General Chemistry.
    • 6 credits of Organic Chemistry.
    • 6 credits of Biology.
    • 6 credits of Physics.
    • 6 credits of English/Humanities.
  • The science courses must include laboratory instruction.
  • Suggested pre-dental science electives include comparative anatomy, cell biology, genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, and physiology.

  • GPAs are not considered the only measure of a student's level of performance in school.
    • Also taken into account are the type of college attended and the relationship between grades obtained and DAT scores.
