Course and Degree Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Preference given to those who complete upper division science course beyond required courses
- Required Courses:
- Biology with lab (2 semesters)
- Chemistry with lab (including at least one semester of organic chemistry)
- English or a writing-intensive course (2 semesters)
- Mathematics (1 semester)
- Classical Physics (2 semesters)
- Biochemistry ( 1 semester)
- AP credits can count toward the prerequisites
- Recommended Courses:
- Anatomy, micriobiology, physiology, physical chemistry

- No minimum but GPA of at least 3.2 is required to be competitive
- Overall average GPA (2013): 3.66
- Overall science GPA (2013): 3.62
DAT
