Course and Degree Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required:
  • Preference given to those who complete upper division science course beyond required courses:
• Required Courses:
  • One year of biology with a lab
  • Three semesters of chemistry with lab (at least one semester of organic chemistry)
    • Additional work in organic and physical chemistry is recommended
  • One year of English
  • One semester of mathematics
    • Calculus preferred
  • One semester of biochemistry
  • One semester of classical physics
• AP credits count as long as it is on official transcript

GPA

• Overall average: 3.66
• Overall science: 3.62
