Admissions Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree required, Preference given to those who complete upper division science course beyond required courses
  • Required Courses
    • Biology with lab (2 semesters)
    • Chemistry with lab (including at least one semester of organic chemistry)
    • English or a writing-intensive course (2 semesters)
    • Mathematics (1 semester)
    • Classical Physics (2 semesters)
    • Biochemistry ( 1 semester)
  • AP credits can count toward the prerequisites
  • Recommended Courses:
    • Anatomy, micriobiology, physiology, physical chemistry
